So, Tim and I went to the florist’s design studio Wednesday to finalize what we wanted flower wise. Tim and I were pretty happy with what Michael and Lyn came up with, though we did want some minor tweaks.

Here’s what they did:

The flowers are day lilies, tulips, roses, freesia and dahlias. I nixed the roses, and they’ll be replaced with yellow poppies. Tim didn’t like the freesia, so they’ll put something else there instead. He also thought the day lilies were too tall, so they’ll be put in a shorter vase.

And he wanted to add sunflowers, like this:

There will also be more votive candles around the base.

I think it will definitely be really pretty. I’m excited.

I think I’ll save our marriage license adventure until tomorrow.
